To remove the fan assembly module from the Cisco uBR10012 router:
Step 1 Remove the front cover by lifting it up slightly, and then pulling it towards you (see

Step 2 Verify the status of the PRODUCT ID LED/switch on the UBR10012-FAN-PLUS= fan assembly module
before removing the module from the chassis (see
Step 3 Loosen the captive screws on each side of the fan assembly module and pull the module out of the chassis
