Gigabit Ethernet SFP slot 1
The NSE-150 and NPE-G100 use only Gigabit Ethernet SFP modules. A variety of latch types are available. Figure 3 shows one
type. For more information about SFP types, technologies, models, and cabling specifications, see the Cisco 7304 Installation
and Configuration Guide.
Attach an ESD-preventative wrist strap between you and an unpainted chassis surface.
Step 1
Locate the label on the Gigabit Ethernet SFP module and turn the SFP module so the label is on top and the alignment

Because invisible laser radiation may be emitted from the aperture of the port when no fiber cable is connected,
avoid exposure to laser radiation and do not stare into open apertures.
The SFP module is keyed so that it cannot be inserted incorrectly.

Insert the Gigabit Ethernet SFP module into an SFP slot. The SFP module snaps into place after you have completely
