T h e effective display screen surface r u n s over a n area of eight 1cm d i v i -
sions along the v e r t i c a l a x i s and ten 1cm divisions along the horizontal
a x i s . W i t h a n inner graticule etched r i g h t onto the tube face, the chance of
measurement errors due to p a r a l l a x occurring between the trace and the
graticule h a v e been significantly reduced. T h e r e is also a % display for
m e a s u r i n g rise t i m e on the left edge of the graticule.

A p u s h - b u t t o n type s w i t c h that turns the power source on and off. P r e s s -
i n g the s w i t c h t u r n s the power on. P r e s s i n g i t a g a i n t u r n s power off.

(4) C A L T e r m i n a l
A voltage t e r m i n a l for calibration. T o be used for adjusting the probe.
Capable of 1 volt peak to peak, positive polarity, square wave signals w i t h
approx. 1kHz i s enabled.
(5) I N T E N S I T Y C o n t r o l
F o r adjusting the brightness of the trace line.
(6) F O C U S C o n t r o l
F o r adjusting the focus and a t t a i n i n g the clearest displays possible. T h e
automatic focusing corrects out-of-focus automatically even w h e n the
I N T E N control i s turned. H o w e v e r , it m a y result i n slight o u t - o f - f o c u s .
