Before performing the following procedures, a l w a y s unplug the power cord.

I f the fuse blows, the oscilloscope w i l l not operate. Locate the cause. I f the o s c i l -
loscope i s not defective, remove the cap from the fuse holder on the rear panel
w i t h a standard type s c r e w d r i v e r , then replace the fuse w i t h a new fuse. (See
F i g u r e 15.)

R e m o v e the fuse holder and voltage selector from the rear panel w i t h a standard
type s c r e w d r i v e r . F i t the line voltage selector to m a t c h the supply voltage r a t i n g
i T m a r k ) .
I f 100 or 120V i s to be changed into 220 or 230V:
[ C S - 4 1 2 5 ] : 800mA quick a c t i n g fuse should be replaced w i t h a 500mA quick
a c t i n g fuse.
[ C S - 4 1 3 5 ] : 500mA time J a g fuse should be replaced w i t h a 315mA time l a g fuse.
