Cause and/or solution
R Change the display language (page 45).
R If [Repeater mode] is turned on (page 52), ECO mode is
automatically turned off and the [ECO mode] checkbox is not
displayed.
R The maximum number of handsets (6) is already registered to
the base unit. Cancel unused handset registrations from the
base unit (page 49).
R The maximum number of base units (4) is already registered to
the handset. Cancel unused base unit registrations from the
handset (page 51).
R You entered the wrong base unit PIN. If you forget your PIN,
contact an authorised service centre.
Cause and/or solution
R Clean the charge contacts of the handset and charger with a
dry cloth and charge again.
R It is time to replace the battery (page 3).
Cause and/or solution
R The handset is too far from the base unit. Move closer.
R The base unit's AC adaptor is not properly connected.
Reconnect AC adaptor to the base unit.
R The handset is not registered to the base unit. Register it
(page 49).
R During standby mode, the transmission range of the base unit
is reduced if ECO mode is on. If required, turn ECO mode off
(page 43).
R You are using the handset or base unit in an area with high
electrical interference. Re-position the base unit and use the
handset away from sources of interference.
R Move closer to the base unit.
R If you use a DSL/ADSL service, we recommend connecting a
DSL/ADSL filter between the base unit and the telephone line
jack. Contact your DSL/ADSL service provider for details.
R You have registered a handset that is not recommended for
use with the base unit. The clearest sound quality is only
possible when using a recommended handset (page 4).
