Standard remote access
Important:
R You must set the remote access code in order to use standard remote access (page 39).

Dial your phone number from a touch-tone phone.

After the greeting message starts, enter the remote access code.

Enter remote commands (page 37).

Remote operation
You can press dial keys to operate answering system features as explained below.
Key Operation

Repeat message (during playback)
2 Skip message (during playback)
4 Play new messages
5 Play all messages
6 Play greeting message
7 Record greeting message
9 Stop recording or playback
0 Turn answering system off
#9 Turn new message notification off
*4 Erase currently playing message
*5 Erase all messages
*6 Reset to a pre-recorded greeting message (during greeting message playback)
*# End remote operation and end call
*1 If pressed within the first 5 seconds of playback, the previous message is played.
Turning on the answering system remotely

Dial your phone number from a touch-tone phone.

Let the phone ring 9 times.
R A long beep is heard.

Enter your remote access code within 10 seconds after the long beep.
R The greeting message is played back.
R You can either hang up, or enter your remote access code again and begin remote
operation.
