Operation

Source
The Source Function relies on the batteries of the
IPM-100, and provides an output from 0.00 mA to
24.0 mA (–25 to 125%).
1.
Disconnect one or both of the input wires
from the device to be calibrated.
2.
Select SOURCE and press the MODE button
until SOURCE appears on the display.
3.
Press the mA / % button to select current or
percent.
4.
Connect the red lead to the positive (+) input
of the device; connect the black lead to the
negative (–) input of the device.
5.
Adjust the output current by turning the
control knob, or by using the output
checkpoint buttons.
Read
The Read Function measures current from
0.00 mA to 24.0 mA (–25% to 125%).
1.
Open the loop at any convenient point.
2.
Select READ and press the MODE button until
READ appears on the display.
3.
Press the mA / % button to select current or
percent.
4.
Connect the red lead to the positive (+) side
of the circuit; connect the black lead to the
negative (–) side of the circuit.
5.
Read the display.
