LED Accent Lighting
(6000CL-IFT-S and 8000CL-IFT-S models only)
Frequency: As needed
By: Qualified Service Technician
Tools needed: Protective gloves, replacement LED as-
semblies, 1/4 inch nut driver.
The LEDs installed in this appliance do not require any
annual service. However, the LED assemblies can be
replaced. To replace:
• Remove Logs, Grate/Burner, Base refractory.
• Remove the ember glass assembly. The LED box can
be lifted out of the fireplace at this point.
• See replacement parts list for LED part numbers.

Black Glass Refractory
Frequency: Annually
By: Qualified Service Technician
Tools needed: Protective gloves, dust cloths, non-abra-
sive glass cleaner
CAUTION! Handle fixed glass assembly with care.
Glass is breakable.
• Avoid striking, scratching or slamming glass
• Avoid abrasive cleaners
• DO NOT clean glass while it is hot
• Remove decorative front from fireplace and set aside
on work surface.
• Pull the four glass assembly latches out of the groove
on the glass frame. Remove glass assembly from the
appliance See Figure 4.1.
Note: It may be necessary to remove logs in order to
clean and inspect the glass refractory. Reinstall logs using
instructions included in appliance installation manual.
• Clean black glass refractory with a non-abrasive
commercially available cleaner.
- Light deposits: Use a soft cloth with soap and water
- Heavy deposits: Use commercial fireplace glass
cleaner (consult with your dealer)
• Carefully set fixed glass assembly in place on fireplace.
Hold glass in place with one hand. Use the other hand
to pull out and latch the four glass latches to secure the
glass assembly into the groove on the glass frame.
• Reinstall decorative front.
