Remove and Replace the Lamp Module

The lamp module is located on the bottom of the projector and includes an integrated lamp door.
DANGER Allow the lamp module to cool before removing it from the projector. High operating
temperatures inside the lamp house can cause burns. Do not attempt to measure the output voltage from
the ballast when the lamp strikes. High voltage produced by the ballast to strike the lamp can ruin test
instruments as well as cause personal injury.
1 Place the projector upside down on the work surface.
2 Remove the three M3x6 screws that fasten the lamp to the bottom case.
3 Use a small flat blade screwdriver to gently pry up the edge of the lamp door, then pull the lamp
module out of the projector.
