Remove and Replace the Fan Assembly

The fan assembly provides cooling for the lamp module and electrical components inside the projector.
The assembly consists of two 50mm fans in a mounting frame. Each fan uses a three-wire cable that
relays a locked rotor condition to the controller ECA if a motor fails.
1 Remove the following items:
Lamp module (see page 7)
Top case (see page 9)
Controller ECA (partial removal) (see page 16)
2 Disengage the DMD fan cable from the guide on top of the fan assembly.
3 Disengage the high voltage lamp cable from the guide at the side of the fan assembly.
