FIRMWARE PROGRAM UPDATE（ファームウェアプログラムのバージョンアップ）
1.
Preparing Transmission with PC
Start HyperTerminal to prepare for writing data into
flash memory.
2.
Preparing Reception with AFC1
2-1. Set the RS232C/RS422 switch to RS422.
2-2. Connect the [PC CONTROL] terminal and the [FOR
SERVICE USE] terminal through a D-sub 9P cross cable.
2-3. Turn on the power supply switch.
2-4. After 1 second, disconnect the cable from the [PC
CONTROL] terminal and the [FOR SERVICE USE]
terminal.

Writing Firmware into Flash Memory of AFC1
3-1. Change the RS232C/RS422 switch to RS232C.
3-2. Connect the [PC CONTROL] terminal and the serial
terminal on the PC through a D-sub 9P cross cable.
3-3. Transmit a file from the PC.
When you see " || || || || or · · · ·" on the screen, start
transmission.
When the transmission is completed, close HyperTerminal.
4.
Updating Firmware
Update firmware according to the above procedures
1 through 3.
The data written into the flash memory is AFC1
firmware, AFC1_****.bin.
When the updating is completed, turn off the power
supply switch.
Memo: The asterisks, ****, denote the version of the
firmware.
When the version is 1.00, it is indicated as
0100. (The version number is given as the
decimal point is eliminated and a zero, 0, is
added at the beginning.)

PC 側の送信準備
ハイパーターミナルを起動してフラッシュ・メモ
リーにデータを書き込む準備をします。

AFC1 の受信準備
2-1. RS232C/RS422 スイッチを RS422 に設定します。
2-2. [PC CONTROL]端子と[FOR SERVICE USE]端子をD-
sub 9P クロスケーブルで接続します。
2-3. 電源スイッチを ON します。
2-4. 1秒後に、 [PC CONTROL]端子と[FOR SERVICE USE]
端子の間の接続を外します。

AFC1のフラッシュ ・ メモリーにファームウェアを書き込む
3-1. RS232C/RS422 スイッチを RS232C に切り替えます。
3-2. [PC CONRTOL]端子と PC のシリアル端子を D-sub
9P クロスケーブルで接続します。
3-3. PC 側からファイルを送信します。
画面に「‖‖‖‖または・・・・」が表示されたら、
送信を開始します。
送信が終わったら、 ハイパーターミナルを閉じます。
4.
ファームウェアの書き換え
1. から 3. の項目の手順により、ファームウェアを書
き替えます。
フラッシュ・メモリーに書き替えるデータは、AFC1
ファームウェア AFC1̲****.bin です。
書き替えが完了したら、 電源スイッチをOFFします。
補足：**** は、バージョンを示します。
バージョン 1.00 の場合には、0100 と読み替え
を行なうこと。 （小数点を除き、頭に 0 を付加
した数値）
