4.3 Charging process
Completing the charging process
Your vehicle is being charged as long as the light pulsates in blue. Charging is complete when
the light of the LED status display is constant.
You can stop charging at any time.
You have three different options to end charging:
Procedure with RFID card or debit card
1. Charging point selection: Press the pushbutton below the HMI and follow the instructions.
2. Place the RFID card or debit card on the icon for the card reader until the card has been
successfully verified. This may take a few seconds.
3. Charging stops.
The status indicator changes from blue to yellow.
4. The charging cable is now unlocked. Remove the charging cable.
5. Also unplug the connector from the socket of your electric vehicle. Stow away the provided
charging cable. To do this, follow the instructions in the manual for your vehicle.
Procedure with operator app
1. Charging point selection: Select your vehicle or the charging point in the operator app.
2. Unlock the charging cable on the charging station.
The status indicator changes from blue to yellow.
3. Remove the charging cable.
4. Also unplug the connector from the socket of your electric vehicle. Stow away the provided
charging cable. To do this, follow the instructions in the manual for your vehicle.
A third-party app is not included in the charging station's scope of certification and is not

covered by the prototype test certificate. The operator has to ensure that operation is
compliant with calibration laws.
Procedure for unplugging from the vehicle
1. Unlock the charging cable on the vehicle. Follow the instructions listed in your vehicle's
manual.
The status indicator changes from blue to yellow.
2. Remove the plug from the socket of your electric vehicle and the socket of the charging
station.
The status display changes from yellow to green.
3. Stow away the provided charging cable. To do this, follow the instructions in the manual for
your vehicle.
