Getting to know
the control panel
To utilise all the functions of your
appliance, we recommend that you
familiarise yourself thoroughly with the
control panel and its options.
Operation and display
Your new appliance features a
touch sensitive screen, i.e. when the
panel is touched, the corresponding
response is actuated. Below are
explanations of the buttons and their
function.
u Use the < and > buttons
a) to select parameters,
b) to select mother steps suggested by
the menu.
v Acknowledge the selected parameters
with the ok button. If the button is not
pressed after changing the parameters
with the < and > buttons, the previous
settings remain active.
w The menu button is used to select the
menus (see following section). Press the
button to jump to the next menu.
x The alarm button acknowledges an
alarm emitted by the appliance and
switches off the warning signal.
Warning
An alarm emitted by the appliance may
have several causes. See "Warning
messages via the display".
y Use the freezer section button
a) to set the temperature of the freezer
section,
b) to select special functions for the
freezer section.
U Use the fridge section button to make
the same settings as described under y
for the freezer section.
V Use the super/freezer section button
to switch on/off the "super" function for
the freezer section.
W Use the super/fridge section button to
switch on/off the "super" function for the
fridge section.
Note
- Only the active buttons are lit on the
control panel. Only these buttons are
available for other operating steps.
- If none of the active buttons is pressed
in the available menus and submenus,
the standard display is automatically
restored after 10 sec..
