Figure 13 on page 29 shows the LEDs on the rear of the Type 7199 appliance.

v If the LED is illuminated in amber, the connection speed is 10 or 100 Mbps
The activity LED for the MGT0 and MGT1 Ethernet connections indicates that
traffic is passing through the interface.
v If the green LED is illuminated, the Ethernet port is linking to the
interface.
v If the green LED is illuminated and blinking, the Ethernet port is active.
The LEDs on the 8-port Ethernet module indicate the speed of the
connection.
v If these LEDs are illuminated in green, the connection speed is 1 Gbps.
v If these LEDs are illuminated in amber, the connection speed is 100 Mbps.
The LEDs on the 8-port Ethernet module specify the port activity.
v If these LEDs are illuminated, the Ethernet port is linking to the interface.
v If these LEDs are illuminated and blinking, the interface is active.
If the green LED on the 10 Gb SFP+ module is illuminated, the Ethernet port
is active and linking to the interface.
The LEDs on the 10 Gb SFP+ module LED indicate the speed of the port.
v If these LEDs are illuminated in green, the connection speed is 10 Gbps.
v If these LEDs are illuminated in amber, the connection speed is 1 Gbps.
The amber LED light for the cache indicates possible error conditions with
the cache.
v If illuminated at the same time as the green LED (light N in the diagram),
the power is on but the driver is not loaded.
v If illuminated at the same time as the yellow and green LED lights (lights
M and N in the diagram), a firmware update might be in progress.
The yellow LED light for the cache indicates when data is being written to
the cache.
v If flashing, data is being written to the cache. The flashing indicates the
write volume. Can occur in combination with the green LED (labeled as N
in the diagram).
v If illuminated at the same time as the amber and green LED lights (lights L
and N in the diagram), a firmware update might be in progress.
The green LED light for the cache indicates when data is being read from the
cache.
v If flashing, data is being read from the cache. The flashing indicates the
read volume.
v If illuminated at the same time as the amber LED (light L in the diagram),
the power is on but the driver is not loaded.
v If illuminated at the same time as the amber and yellow LED lights (lights
L and M in the diagram), a firmware update might be in progress.
