This section describes the following options for obtaining support for IBM
products:

Searching knowledge bases

If you encounter a problem, you want it resolved quickly. You can search the
available knowledge bases to determine whether the resolution to your problem
was already encountered and is already documented.

IBM Software Support provides support for this appliance, as noted in the IBM
Software Support Handbook (http://www14.software.ibm.com/webapp/set2/sas/
f/handbook/home.html). IBM Software Support can help debug problems with the
appliance, including CRUs.
Before contacting IBM Support, verify that you have met the following criteria:
v Your company has an active maintenance contract.
v You are authorized to submit problems.
v You have the appliance serial number.
v You have the customer number that was used to purchase the appliance.
