Remove the oven door
There are two different methods for removing the oven door from the GC.
Try the steps in "Pulling the door hinge rod up using needle nose pliers"
on page 4 first. If it is not possible to do, skip to "Pushing the door hinge
rod up using a flat head screwdriver" on page 6.
To prevent personal injury, take care to adequately support the door using both
WA R N I N G
hands or a second person. Failure to properly support the door could cause it to
fall.

Once the oven has cooled to ambient temperature, open the oven door
enough so that the door hinge rod is easily accessible.
Using needle nose pliers, grip the rod as shown in Figure 2, then pull
up on the rod and hold.
