3. Remove the spark plug.
4. Turn the engine over several times using the
electric start.
5. Dry the spark plug and reinstall it, or install a
new plug.
6. Attempt to start the engine. If necessary,
repeat the drying procedure.
7. Take the vehicle in for service as soon as
possible, whether you succeed in starting it or
not. Your POLARIS dealer can provide the
required service.
8. If water has been ingested into the
transmission follow the procedure on page
125 for drying the CVT.

for spark plug and gap specifications.
NOTICE
Spark plug condition is indicative of engine
operation. The spark plug firing end condition
should be read after the engine is warmed up
and the vehicle is driven at higher speeds.
Immediately check the spark plug for correct
color. Using non-recommended spark plugs
can result in serious engine damage. Always
use POLARIS-recommended spark plugs or
their equivalent.
