14. Troubleshooting

Problem
The device cannot be
found.
After starting the software
the following warning
appears: "No valid
measurement modes
found!"
The red LED of the ON/OFF
button is blinking red.
The programs windows do
not show up or are
arranged strangely.

Approach
This is usually due to problems with the
USB communication. In this case, please
check the USB connectors and the drivers
in the Windows Device Manager.

The software attempts to read out the
measuring modes from the device.
Possibly the connection is not established
correctly. Make sure the device is turned
on (check if ON/OFF buttons LED lights or
blinks red) and the USB connection has
been established (see beginning of
chapter 2).
If the message still appears, check the
Seunis.config file, if the entry Auto
connect is set to true .
This is not an error but means that the
battery is currently recharged. The LED
blinks green while the device is turned off
and the battery is charged.
Press CTRL-ALT-W to restore the
factory-default window arrangement.
