Transferring Your Images (Windows)
System Requirements:
• IBM PC/AT or compatible
• Windows 98/2000 preinstalled PC with
USB port
• 486 CPU or higher (Pentium
recommended)
• 32 MB on-board memory
• 10 MB available hard disk space
Driver & File Converter Installation
Note
• If Windows 2000 USB Device Driver is installed, please refer to page 48.

Turn on the PC (Personal Computer) and start up Windows 98.

Insert supplied Software CD-ROM into the CD-ROM Drive.

Select and click the icon you want to install.

Follow the instructions as they appear on your PC screen.
PalmCam File Converter
• When transferring non-Design rule for
Camera File system format images from
your PC to the Digital Camera, you will
need to convert the image data to
Design rule for Camera File system format
so that the Camera can read it.
Note
• The Design rule for Camera File system
was standardized by the Japan Electronic
Industry Development Association (JEIDA)
with the main purpose of developing an
environment in which image files such as
those from Digital Still Cameras can easily be
exchanged with other related devices.
