Configures the system response when power is restored after an unexpected
loss of power.
Default: Power OFF is selected. System stays off after AC power is restored.
Configures the Active State Power Management (ASPM) level.
Default: Auto. There is handshaking between the device and PCI Express hub
to determine the best ASPM mode supported by the device.
Blocks the computer from entering Sleep (S3) mode in the operating system.
Default: OFF
Configures how aggressive the system is at conserving power while in
Shutdown (S5) or Hibernate (S4) mode.
Default: Enabled in S4 and S5
Enables or disables the Intel Speed Shift Technology support. Turning on
this option allows the operating system to select the appropriate processor
performance automatically.
Default: ON
Enable or disable the Intel Platform Trust Technology (PPT) visibility to the
operating system.
Enable or disable the TPM Physical Presence Interface (PPI). When enabled,
this setting will allow the OS to skip BIOS PPI user prompts when issuing the
Clear command. Changes to this setting take effect immediately.
Default: Disabled
Enable or disable the Intel Platform Trust Technology (PPT) owner
information. When enabled, this setting will reset the PPT to its default state.
Changes to this setting take effect after exiting the BIOS setup menu.
Default: Disabled
Enable or disable additional SMM Security Mitigation protection. The operating
system makes use of this feature to protect the secure environment crated by
virtualization-based security.
Default: OFF
Enable or disable data wipe cycle. If enabled, the BIOS will schedule a data
wipe cycle for storage device(s) connected to the motherboard on the next
reboot. Any data on the storage device(s) cannot be recovered after this
Secure Wipe Operation.
Default: OFF
