Defective microswitch at burner valve (single

Test/Action
1 Test the polarity of the outlet. If the polarity is
incorrect, consult an electrician.
2 Check the internal connections.
1 Check for continuity between the unit's ground
and the ground terminal on another outlet. If
there is no continuity, consult an electrician.

Clean with a wire brush or emery cloth.
Replace the igniter.
Rewire or replace the spark module(s).
Reposition the igniter. The igniter should be seated
in the burner pan.
Replace the microswitch.
Replace the electrode wire.
Check the gas pressure, and adjust it if necessary.
Check the gas type, and change it if necessary.
Clean with a wire brush or emery cloth.
Replace the igniter.
Replace the electrode wire.
Repair the wire connection.
Replace the spark module.
Check the gas pressure, and adjust it if necessary.
Reposition the igniter. The igniter should be seated
in the burner pan.
Clean as necessary.
Check the orifice stamp number.
Check the gas pressure with a manometer.
1 Check the gas type.
2 If the gas type is incorrect, advise the owner. It
may be necessary to convert the unit's gas
type.
Replace the microswitch.
Replace the igniter.
Clean the igniter.
Replace the wiring.
Repair the wiring.
Replace the spark module(s).
Check the outlet and circuit breaker.
Replace the electrode wire.
Reconnect the wire, or repair the wire harness.
Replace the 1-point spark module.
Replace the microswitch.
