This installation, operation, and programming guide includes information

about the Tracer ZN.520 zone controller. Tracer ZN.520 zone controller is the
second in the family of controls for terminal products. You can use the Tracer
ZN.520 zone controller with the following units:

I UniTrane™ fan-coil units
I Force-Flo™ cabinet heaters
I UniTrane low vertical fan-coil units
I Blower coil units
Manufactured by Trane—Waco, Texas
I Classroom unit ventilator units
This document describes the features of the Tracer ZN.520 zone controller.
However, certain applications may not be available on all products due to
design constraints. Refer to the literature for the specific equipment for
available features and options.

The Trane family of Tracer zone controllers

The Trane family of Tracer zone controllers is the next generation of quality
equipment controllers designed to meet product-specific requirements. Tracer
ZN.510 and the Tracer ZN.010 were the first controls to support 2-position
(on/off) control requirements of 1 heat/1 cool and water source heat pump
terminal units.
Tracer ZN.520 zone controller replaces the core functions of the terminal zone
controller on fan coil, classroom unit ventilator, and blower coil units. To
provide better temperature control, Tracer ZN.520 zone controller provides:
I Cascade control
I Modulating hydronic valves
I 2-position valves
I One or two stages of electric heat
I Direct expansion (DX) cooling
I Dehumidification
I Economizer damper
I Face/bypass damper
I Baseboard heat
