1) はずみ車を回して針棒を最下点にし、針棒抱き止めねじ
1 をゆるめます。この時、送り調節ダイヤル目盛は 0 に
してください。
( 針棒の高さを決めます。)
2) 針棒 2 の上刻線 A を針棒下メタル 3 の下端に合わせ、
A 針棒抱き止めねじ 1 を締め付けます。
( かま a の取付位置を決めます )
3) 3 本のかま止めねじをゆるめ、はずみ車を回して針棒 2

が上る方向で中刻線 B を針棒下メタル 3 の下端に合わせ
ます。
4) この状態でかま剣先 5 を針 4 の中心に合わせ、針とか
まのすき間が 0.06 〜 0.1mm( 目安 ) になるようにして、
かま止めねじを固く締めてください。
1) Turn the handwheel to bring the needle bar the lowest po-
sition of its stroke. Loosen needle bar connection setscrew

2) Align upper engraved marker line A on needle bar 2 with
the bottom end of needle bar lower bushing 3 .
Then tighten needle bar connection setscrew 1 .

3) Loosen the three setscrews retaining the hook. Turn the
handwheel until intermediate engraved marker line B on
needle bar 2 with the bottom end of needle bar lower
bushing 3 while the needle bar goes up.
4) After making the adjustments mentioned in the above
steps, align hook blade point 5 with the center of needle
4 . Provide a clearance of 0.06 mm to 0.1 mm (reference
value) between the needle and the hook, then securely
tighten setscrews in the hook.
