26 Safety Information for
Lawn Scarifiers
26.1
Introduction
This chapter describes the general safety
instructions preformulated on the basis of the
standard EN 50636-2-92, Annex BB, for electri‐
cally operated lawn scarifiers.
WARNING
■ Read all the safety instructions, instructions,
illustrations and technical data provided with
the lawn scarifier.Failure to comply with the
following instructions may cause electrical
shock, fire and/or serious injury.Keep all safety
instructions and instructions for the future.
26.2
Training
a) Read the instructions carefully, ensure that
you are familiar with the controls and the cor‐
rect use of the machine.
b) Never allow people who are not familiar with
these instructions or children to use the
machine.Local regulations may impose age
restrictions for users.
