RADIATOR INSPECTION / CLEANING

1. Check radiator air passages for restrictions or
damage.
2. Carefully straighten any bent radiator fins.
3. Remove any obstructions with compressed air or low
pressure water.
Washing the vehicle with a high-pressure washer could
damage the radiator fins and impair the radiators
effectiveness. Use of a high-pressure washer is not
recommended.

CAUTION
COOLANT DRAIN / RADIATOR
REMOVAL
1. Allow the vehicle to cool down if recently operated.
2. Place a suitable drain pan underneath the right hand
side of the radiator.
3. Open the hood and slowly open the radiator
pressure cap to relieve system pressure.
Never remove the pressure cap when the engine is
warm or hot. Escaping steam can cause severe burns.
The engine must be cool before removing the pressure
4. Open the drain valve
radiator and allow the coolant to completely drain.
Properly dispose of the used coolant.
5. Remove the screws that retain the recovery bottle to
the frame bracket. Set the recovery bottle out of the
way.
