To reset the unit
If the unit does not operate properly, you can reset
it.

Find the symptoms of the issue in
the Troubleshooting section, and try
corrective actions listed.

Disconnect the power cord of the main
unit from a wall outlet, wait about 30
seconds, and then connect it again.

Place the remote control on the
charger.
You may be resolve some issues by charging
the built-in battery.

Press the reset button with a small pin,
etc. as shown below.

Messages
Loading (iPod)
The unit is reading information from the iPod.
LOCKED (CD)
The disc cannot be ejected. Contact your Sony
dealer or local authorized Sony service facility.
No Disc (CD)
There is no disc in the unit, or you have loaded a
disc that cannot be played.
Invalid operation.
The operation that you performed is invalid or
currently prohibited.
Reading (CD/USB)
The unit is reading information from the disc or
the USB device.
