ERROR
PURPOSE
This procedure provides instructions to clear an ERROR equipment alarm or event.
GENERAL
Refer to the 1677 SONET Link Address and Location Guide (PN 3EM13854AD) to determine facility
and module location and address.
STEP
PROCEDURE
ERROR indicates SET-SYNCN has been executed and AUTOREFSW has been set to

switching inhibited (INH).
Does AUTOREFSW need to be set to switching allowed (ALW)?

Did output return a COMPLD or DENY?

Observe output. Did ERROR alarm clear?

Contact next level of technical support for assistance.

STOP. This procedure is complete.

If yes, go to step 2.
If no, go to step 7.
