ET 200SP HA is exchanging data with
an IO controller.

ER LED

Definition
The ER LED provides diagnostics information.
Description
The ER LED indicates the following errors:
ER LED
Group fault and group fault for chan‐
nels
Flashes
Configured settings do not match the
actual configuration of the ET 200SP
HA.
Impermissible configuration states
Parameter assignment error in the I/O
module
Note
Configuration errors are only checked when the station starts up and not during a CiR or H-CiR
process.

Meaning
Check the supply voltage or switch it on at the interface module.
Check the backplane bus for short-circuit
Activate the interface module with the configuration software or the
user program.
Configure the interface module with the configuration software.

Check the configuration of the ET 200SP HA for missing modules, de‐
fective modules or the presence of non-configured modules.
