For Vantage 36 units, remove the cotter pin as
shown in Figure 5. Loosen one jam nut on the
bulkhead and pull the cable out and through the
hole in the RH front deck lift bracket.

Unlock the assembly and pivot it away from
the mower deck. Lift the Operator Controlled
Discharge accessory (and the adapter for Vantage
36 units) out of the deck mounting tube.
6.
Lower the existing discharge deflector.
Important: Reinstall the original discharge
deflector if it was removed during the
Operator Controlled Discharge accessory
installation.
7.
The machine can now be used for side discharge
mowing.
