Custom setting – Changing the Closed Caption setting
Displays the setting contents.
Note: Press "RTN" to return to the previous
screen.
Press "SET" for at
least 2 seconds.
The settings are stored
and the set up mode is
canceled.
Custom setting –
Changing the Closed
Caption setting
DVD includes so-called "closed captions"
which describe the scene to persons with
impaired hearing. It is possible to turn the
closed captions ON and OFF.
Select "CUSTOM SETUP" under
"Changing the default settings
(SET UP)" on page 24.
Move the "Joystick" up and
down to select "CLOSED CAP-
TION", then press "ENT".
ENT
Move the "Joystick" up and
down to select "ON" or "OFF",
then press "ENT".
ON
Displays the closed captions.
OFF
Does not display the closed captions.
Set to OFF at time of shipment from
factory.
Displays the setting contents.
Notes:
• Please be aware that closed captions are
different from titles.
• Press "RTN" to return to the previous screen.
