The self tests run from Phoenix software are used for fault diagnosis.
If Phoenix software is not available the functional tests with phone accessories are sufficient to verify the
functionality Bluetooth and FM radio receiver and transmitter.
If radio reception is poor inside the service centre buildings, the FM receiver can be tested using another FM
transmitter device connected to a music player.

Test Procedure--Phoenix Service Software Set up

Bluetooth Self Tests

Context
A flash adapter (or phone data cable) connected to a PC with Phoenix service software is required.
Steps
1. Place the phone in the flash adapter or connect data cable to phone.
Phoenix service software.
2. Start
3. Choose File → Scan Product .
4. From the Mode drop-down menu, set to Local.
5. Choose Testing Self Tests.
Self Tests window check the following Bluetooth tests:
