DIGITAL ZOOM

Press "a" to zoom in on your subject and "b" to
zoom out. When the limit of optical zooming is
reached, the digital zoom can then be used to
zoom still further.

optical zoom is being used.

To change the flash setting, pop the flash unit up.
The flash mode setting does not change when
you close the flash.

When you pop the flash up, the image shown on the
screen may disappear and the screen may go dark
because the flash is charging. In this event, the
indicator lamp blinks orange.

Using the flash in very dusty conditions or when it is
snowing, white dots may appear in the image due to
the flash reflecting off the dust particles or
snowflakes. Try taking the shot using Suppressed
Flash mode.
