Operating menu Micropilot NMR81 "HTMS" submenu Overview The Hybrid Tank Measurement System (HTMS) is a method to calculate the density of a product in a tank based on both a (top mounted) level and at least one (bottom mounted) pressure measurement. An additional pressure sensor can be installed at the top of the tank to provide information about the vapor pressure and to make the density calculation more accurate.

The dip table is used in particular to adapt the level gauge to the specific application conditions such as a mechanical offset and the tank or stilling well design. Depending on national regulations, national inspectors will dip the tank at one to three levels during a calibration run and check the level readings.
