Community Setting
In the SNMP settings screen, enable SNMP v1 and click [Community
Setting] to open the page shown in the following diagram.
Item Description
Register a new community. Click to open a
dialog box for editing the various settings for a

community.
Up to three communities can be registered.
Change the settings of the selected community.
Modify Click to open a dialog box for editing the
various settings for a community.
Delete Delete the selected community.
Display the settings of the selected community.
Detail info Click to open a dialog box for browsing the
various settings for community.

Clicking [New] or [Modify] in the community settings screen opens the
following page.
Item Description
Set a community name within 32
characters.
You can use single-byte letters,
Community numbers, hyphens, and underbars.
name An error appears when you press
the [Apply] button if the name is
already being used or contains
illegal characters.
MIB access Set either [Read/Write] or [Read
restrict only] as the user rights.
Sets permission to access the
host.
All hosts: Permits access to all
Host filtering hosts.
Listed hosts: Permits access only
to hosts specified in [Accepted
hosts list].
