12/10/14 NTV-DOC184 Installation 1. With VW radio keys, remove the MMI located in glove box. Disconnect any associated harnesses and set the radio aside. 2. Gather the provided ‘Power/CAN Harness’ from the A3/GOLF7 kit. Connect the following wires to the car radio’s main power plug*: Interface wires Connect to car Radio Plug... - Page 5 12/10/14 NTV-DOC184 4. Connect the smaller white plug side of the provided LVDS Video Cable to the port on the A3/GOLF7 interface labeled ‘LVDS- IN’. 5. Connect the free end of the provided LVDS Video Cable back to the factory radio at the appropriate port.
- Page 6 12/10/14 NTV-DOC184 GOLF VII ONLY: If this car does not have OEM PDC (Parking sensors in the rear bumper), you MUST setup this module differently. Follow the steps below: a. Disconnect the main Power/CAN connector from the module b. Locate the dip switches on the side of the module and verify that dip switch 6 is DOWN (the rest are less important).
