1-5. Setting of Switches on Board
S101-6 (RET SW Disable)
ON:
The RET switch does not completely function in any modes.
OFF: The RET switch functions as a 40P RETURN signal in the CCZ mode and functions equally with
a lens RET signal in the input mode.
Factory setting: OFF
S101-7 (VBS POOL FEED Input Select)
ON:
If a CCZ connector is connected when the COMPOSITE/SDI terminal is set to COMPOSITE in
the input mode, the VBS pool feed operation is performed with the PB line of a CCZ connector as
an input signal. If a CCZ connector is not connected, it is performed with the BNC IN line as an
input signal.
OFF: The VBS POOL FEED input signal is fixed to BNC IN.
Factory setting: OFF
S101-8 (Monitor Select)
ON:
A CAM image is output to the viewfinder (VF) and TEST OUT/VIDEO OUT terminal during
pool feed operation. A POOL FEED signal (input signal from CA) can be monitored on the
viewfinder by pressing the RET switch (of CA).
OFF: The normal pool feed operation is performed.
Factory setting: OFF
S102-1 (Forced CCZ output)
ON:
A signal is forcibly output to the CCZ connector in the output mode irrespective of the VTR
connection or non-connection to CCZ.
OFF: Normal operation
Factory setting: OFF
S102-2 (UC/J mode inversion)
ON:
If the camcorder is an UC model, the setting in CA is performed as J. If it is a J model, the setting
is performed as UC.
OFF: Normal operation
Factory setting: OFF
S102-3 (Forced Digital CCZ)
ON:
An SDI signal is output to the VBS line of a CCZ connector irrespective of whether the VTR
connected to a CCZ connector is compatible with digital CCZ.
OFF: Normal operation
Factory setting: OFF
S102-4 (SDI power forced supply)
ON:
The power of an SDI circuit is turned on irrespective of the mode used.
OFF: The power is saved when an SDI circuit is not used.
Factory setting: OFF
