If you make a mistake while entering a number or name,
move the cursor under the incorrect digit by pressing
or . Then, press the correct number to change, or press
the Search/Delete button to delete the number.

Using Save Modes

There are four save mode buttons on the front panel of the
WorkCentre Pro 580. Using these buttons, you can save
toner, power consumption, paper for printing, and tolls for
fax calls.
Toner Save Mode
Toner Save mode can be set to conserve the supply of toner
in your laser printer cartridge.
Press the Toner Save button on the front panel to turn this
mode on or off.
• If the LED is on, Toner Save mode activates and the
machine uses less toner to print a page.
N : Print quality may be reduced when using Toner Save

Mode.
• If the LED is off, Toner Save mode deactivates and the
machine prints in the normal mode.
Power Save Mode
Power Save mode lets you reduce power usage when the
printer is idle.
Press the Power Save button on the front panel to turn this
mode on or off.
