Firing rate (EN 267)

The burner output is chosen from within the diagram area (Fig. 3).
To ensure the burner works correctly, the start-up
should always occur within the relative firing rate,
as indicated in Tab. E.

Test boiler

The firing rate has been defined on test boilers according to EN
267 standard.
5.6.2

Commercial boilers

The burner-boiler combination does not pose any problems if it
conforms to EN 303 and the combustion chamber dimensions
are similar to those provided by EN 267.

For applications where the boiler does not conform to EN 303, or
where the combustion chamber is much smaller than the dimen-
sions given in EN 267, please consult the manufacturers.

The firing rates (Fig. 3) were obtained at an ambi-
ent temperature of 20 °C, at a barometric pressure
of 1013 mbar (about 0 m a.s.l.) and with the com-
bustion head regulated as indicated on page 23.
