Reconnect the power cord and a l l other connectors that were removed
from the rear of the diskette drive assembly . See Figure 5 -22 .
Posit ion the diskette drive assembly ' s power switch to ON .

Insert diskettes and do an operational check of the diskette drive
assembly .

POWER S U PPLY REMOVAL

Remove Si" Diskette Drive Assemb ly .
Remove the screw and star washer securing the ground wire to the

Remove the ground wire .

Remove the four screws securing the power supply and bracket to the

Remove the power supply .
Remove the four screws securing the power supp ly .

S l ide the power connector harness through the notch on the cover very

carefully and remove the power supply cover . See Figure 5 - 2 4 .

Lift power supply assembly up and rotate the assembly with circuit
board facing away from the chas s is .

Disconnect AC power input connector on power supply circuit board .

Remove four mount ing s crews securing circuit board to mounting
bracket and remove the circuit board .

REPLACEMENT
1 .
Posit ion circuit board over four threaded standoffs on mounting
bracket .
Pos ition AC power input connector towards the chas s i s and
facing the diskette drive .

Reconnect AC power input connector to receptacle on circuit board .
