POSSIBLE CAUSE
Film tension too tight
Adhesive build up on heat shoe
Drive chain damaged
Motor gear or roller gear set
screw loose
Laminator running too slow for
material being laminated.
Infrared heater defective
Main PCB not calibrated
properly.
Main PCB defective
Laminator running too fast for
material being laminated.
Main PCB not calibrated properly
Main PCB defective
Defective LED on control panel
Insufficient Heat
Defective heat sensor
TCO is open
Switch on main PCB is in "I"
position.
SOLUTION
Adjust film tension
Clean heat shoe with damp,
lint free cloth. (Check film
alignment)
Repair/replace drive chain
Tighten set screw
Adjust speed control to
faster speed.
Replace Infrared heater
Calibrate Main PCB to
Spec.found in Section 6.0
Replace Main PCB
Adjust speed control to
slower speed.
Calibrate Main PCB to
Spec.found in Section 6.0
Replace Main PCB
Replace Control Panel PCB
Check causes for
insufficient heat in
Troubleshooting guide.
Replace heat sensor
Replace TCO ( check for
excessive heat)
Place switch on Main PCB
in the "no" position.
