1. Throttle position lever (Throttle setting device) Pull
back to increase engine speed.
2. Spark plug Provides spark to ignite fuel mixture.
3. Air cleaner Contains replaceable air filter element.
4. Choke Choke is located on left side of the air cleaner.
Move choke lever to
starting. Move choke lever to
choke.
5. Starter handle Pull recoil handle slowly until recoil starter
engages, then quickly and firmly. When engine starts,
return handle slowly. DO NOT let handle snap back or
damage to unit will occur.
6. Serial number label Lists model number and serial num-
ber of unit.
7. Fuel tank cap Covers and seals fuel tank.

8. Fuel tank Contains fuel and fuel filter.
9. Silencer The silencer controls exhaust noise and emis-
sion. Keep exhaust area clear of flammable debris.
10. Blower pipes Used by connecting the nozzle and Blow-
er pipe.
11. Ignition switch Device for connecting and disconnect-
ing the ignition system and thus allowing the engine to
be started or stopped.
12. Throttle trigger Spring loaded to return to idle when re-
leased. During acceleration, press trigger gradually for
best operating technique.
13. Housing cover Prevents the suction of fallen leaves.
