Finding a Place for the Printer

Place your printer close enough to the computer or
workstation for the printer cable to reach both.
Leave adequate room around the printer to allow easy
operation, maintenance and sufficient ventilation. The diagram
below shows the minimum recommended amount of space.

If you install the optional 500-Sheet Lower Cassette Unit, you
will need an additional 130 mm (5.1 inches) in height. If you
install the optional Face-up Tray, you will need an additional
200 mm (7.9 inches) at the back of the printer.
