Device description

Subject to the type of heat pump and
accessories installed, your heating sys-
tem may be equipped as follows:
■ Heating circuits:
Up to 3 heating circuits (2 with mixers)
can be heated.
■ Dual mode:
The heat pump control unit supports
dual mode operation with an additional
heat source, e.g. an oil condensing
boiler or electric instantaneous heat-
ing water heater.
■ Cooling:
The natural cooling and active cooling
functions are supported if the required
accessories are installed. Cooling is
provided via a heating circuit, e.g.
underfloor heating circuit, or via a sep-
arate cooling circuit, e.g. chilled ceiling
or fan convector.
Commissioning
The commissioning and matching up of
the heat pump control unit to local con-
ditions and to the structural characteris-
tics of the building, plus the instruction of
the user in operating the system, must
be carried out by your heating contrac-
tor.

Your system is preset at the factory

At the factory, the heat pump control unit
is set to "Heating and DHW".

Introductory information

■ DHW heating:
DHW heating using an external DHW
cylinder, and control of a DHW circu-
lation pump are possible.
■ Heat pump control unit:
All connected components are oper-
ated and controlled via the heat pump
control unit with plain text menus.
Note
These operating instructions also
describe functions that are only available
on some heat pump models or only with
accessories. These functions are not
specially identified.
