When using MST, allows viewing of STP parameters for each instance
of MST, otherwise shows standard STP parameters.
Note: CIST (Common and Internal Spanning Tree) is the overlaying
STP for the entire L2 Broadcast domain for the MSTP. It includes all
MSTP regions, the connections between those regions and also the
SST(Single Spanning Tree) devices that are unable to run MST.
Set the bridge priority for one or more Spanning Trees. Valid values
are from 0 to 61440 (in increments of 4096), with 0 indicating high
priority and 61440 low priority.
See the port number associated with the displayed Spanning Tree port
parameters.
Enter a bridge priority value for the port. This represents the priority of
a link in a Spanning Tree bridge. Valid values are from 0 to 240 (in
increments of 16) with 0 indicating high priority and 240 low priority.
Set a cost value to a Spanning Tree port. This parameter is used to
determine the best path between Spanning Tree devices. Therefore,
lower values should be assigned to ports attached to faster media, and
higher values assigned to ports with slower media.
Specifying a cost value. Ranges are:
• 0 to 65535 with legacy path cost enabled.
• 0 to 200000000 with legacy path cost disabled.
The default value of 0, allows for path cost to be determined
dynamically based on port speed.
Note: Path cost takes precedence over port priority.
View the Operational Path Cost for the port. This will either be the
manually set Path Cost or the dynamically based Path Cost.
