What You can Do with
Waterproofness of D S1604
• You can talk without an umbrella in the rain
(for rainfall of 20 mm or less per hour).
• You can wash this terminal by soaking in a
sink of fresh water or in tap water at room
temperature (5℃ to 35℃ ) and gently shaking
it.
- Attach the back cover/mickey window
cover.
- Do not use any brush, sponge, soap,
detergent, etc to wash this terminal.
- Wipe off moisture on the surface with dry
cloth and drain the water after washing.

• You can use it at a poolside. However, do not
pour the pool water over this terminal or soak
it in the pool water.
B efore Using
To maintain the waterproofness/
dustproofness, be sure to observe the
following points.
• Make sure to fi rmly close the back cover/
mickey window cover. Even a fi ne obstacle
(one hair, one grain of sand, tiny fi ber, etc.)
which is put between contact surfaces may
allow water or dust to enter.
• Make sure that the back cover/mickey
window cover is closed fi rmly without any
gap.
• Do not pull strongly towards outside when
a strap is attached. The back cover/mickey
window cover may rise up which may cause
the waterproofness/dustproofness function
to no longer be maintained.
