The Bus A LED will be ON
Environmental Services (ES) LED is ON for the TSM in this example to
show that its ES block is the active block.
Note: Both I/O modules are at ID 15. Only one module will be
active at any one time and the other will be in standby mode. If
the active I/O module fails the standby will take over.
For information on the I/O module LED, see page 20.

Cabling the dual (split) SCSI bus configuration

Two host cables are required for this configuration. The length of each
cable may be a maximum of 10 meters. When viewed from the rear
there should be an ESM installed in one I/O slot and a TSM in the other.
Follow the procedures below to connect the cables (see figure on page
24):
1.
Power off the enclosure and the host system.
2.
Attach one end of the cable to one connector on the ESM.
3.
Attach the other end of this cable to a host.
4.
Attach one end of the second cable to the second connector on
the ESM.
5.
Attach the other end of this cable to a host.
Note: For more information on the host connectors, refer to the
documentation supplied with the host system.
