Seats
Never adjust the driver's seat or seatback
when the vehicle is moving.
Always drive and ride with your seatback
upright and the lap belt snug and low
across the hips.
Children should always ride with the
seatback in the fully upright position.
Adjusting the Seats
In the front seats, you can move the whole seat
forward or backward or tilt the back of the seat
forward or backward.
To move the seat forward or backward:
1. Make sure nothing is placed under the front
seats. Such items may interfere with the seat
lock mechanism.
2. Find the seat slide adjustment lever located
on the outside of the seat.
3. Pull the lever up and hold it.
4. Slide the seat to the position you desire.
5. Release the lever and make sure the seat has
locked in place.
