An overview of the services or functions that
are present in the vehicle and those to be or‐
dered later is displayed.

To purchase a service or a function, follow
the instructions on the control display.
In the BMW ConnectedDrive customer portal:
1.
Go to the BMW ConnectedDrive Store via
the BMW homepage.
2.
Select the desired service or function.
The service or function you purchased will be
transferred to the vehicle automatically.
If necessary, the service or function must be acti‐
vated in the vehicle.
Logging on to the BMW ConnectedDrive cus‐
tomer portal on the Internet under:
www.bmw-connecteddrive.com.
BMW messages
General information
Messages may originate from a range of different
sources.

MyInfo: these messages originate from the
BMW ConnectedDrive customer portal or
they are sent from selected partners, such as
a map provider.
▷
BMW Info: these messages are sent by se‐
lected service centers.
▷
Messages from the manufacturer of the vehi‐
cle, for instance technical information or im‐
portant customer information.
▷
Messages from BMW Assist.

An icon identifies the message status.

Messages from the manufacturer of the vehicle
with technical information or important customer
information cannot be deleted.
These messages are displayed as long as they
are relevant.
Further functions
Depending on the equipment and the type of
message, the following functions are available for
a selected message:

Principle
The vehicle apps can be used to display informa‐
tion, such as weather or messages, on the con‐
trol display.
