Settings

Vehicle features and
options
This chapter describes all standard, country-spe‐
cific and optional features offered with the series.
It also describes features and functions that are
not necessarily available in your vehicle, e.g., due
to the selected options or country versions. This
also applies to safety-related functions and sys‐
tems. When using these functions and systems,
the applicable laws and regulations must be ob‐
served.
General information
Navigation settings can be individually config‐
ured. Settings are stored for the driver profile
currently used.
Services
General information
The vehicle offers different functions, whose use
requires a data transfer to BMW or a service pro‐
vider. The data transfer can be deactivated for
some services.
When the data transfer is deactivated, the re‐
spective service cannot be used. Only make
these settings while stationary.
Activate/deactivate
1.
Press the button on the Controller.
2.
Tilt the Controller to the right.
3.
"Settings"
4.
"Configure services"
5.
Select the desired setting.

Map
Principle
The map view can be individually adjusted, for in‐
stance the map color and mode can be set. It
can also be defined, which points of interest are
shown on the map.

Setting the map

1.
Press the button on the Controller.
2.
Tilt the Controller to the right.
3.
"Settings"
4.
"Map"
5.
Select the desired setting.
Route
Principle
The route preference can be individually ad‐
justed. The settings are stored as standard and
automatically applied to new destination guidan‐
ces.
