Bluetooth headset

Principle
In order to be able to use a Bluetooth® headset,
the Bluetooth® headset must be connected with
the snap-in adapter. A previously paired Blue‐
tooth® headset is automatically connected with
the snap-in adapter.
General information
If an additional Bluetooth® headset is paired, the
data of the previous Bluetooth® headset will be
deleted. Only one respective Bluetooth® head‐
set can be paired and connected at any time.
Functional requirements
Depending on the Bluetooth® headset, the
pairing with the snap-in adapter is performed
automatically.
The Bluetooth® headset supports a fixed
passkey, which has been preassigned with
0000 and, if needed, can be modified at web
server http://192.168.1.1 on the Connectivity-
SIA2.0 page under BT Headset.
The Bluetooth® headset is switched on; if
needed, the Bluetooth® headset must be
visibly switched on.
The snap-in adapter is installed in the center
armrest.
Ignition or standby state is switched on and
the vehicle key is in the vehicle.
The SIM card is inserted in the snap-in
adapter or a mobile phone is connected via
the SIM Access Profile SAP with the snap-in
adapter.

Connecting the Bluetooth®
headset
1.
Press the
adapter for approx. 9 seconds, until the signal
tone sounds four times in quick succession.
The LED above the button flashes blue.
2.
Turn on Bluetooth® headset; if needed,
switch it to visible.
3.
Depending on the Bluetooth® headset, hold
the call key on the Bluetooth® headset down
to connect it with the snap-in adapter. Refer
to the operating instructions for the Blue‐
tooth® headset.
After the LED on the snap-in adapter turns
off, the Bluetoot®h headset has been con‐
nected.
Accepting a call
Incoming calls are shown on the hands-free sys‐
tem or the snap-in adapter.
The calls can also be accepted with a previously
connected Bluetooth® headset.
Press the call key on the Bluetooth® headset.
Establishing a call
With the Bluetooth® headset, the last dialed
number can be called using the hands-free sys‐
tem or the handset.
Press the call key on the Bluetooth® headset
twice.

Call transfer

General information
A call can only be carried out with one respective
end-user device:
Via the hands-free system.
Via the rear handset.
Via the Bluetooth® headset.
